A Ph.D. candidate with more than five years of robust software engineering experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and predictive modeling. Complementing this is another four years of expertise in commercial system engineering.

Supervised by Dr. Jugal Kalita and working as a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Terrance E. Boult, I have had the opportunity to tackle various problems and projects, create datasets, and develop software solutions for government agencies.

Research Interests

I love almost everything related to research in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I have experience in recognizing human actions from videos, time series forecasting problems, and developing predictive models. My research primarily focuses on Sports and Autonomous Vehicles.

Currently, I focus on developing a novel deep-learning architecture to predict pedestrian crossing intentions and build robust datasets for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in autonomous vehicle systems. The approach aims to integrate both visual and non-visual elements of pedestrian behavior. I also work on developing a novel Human action recognition theory based on vision.
